TORIA MASIELLO was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She began her theatrical education at First State Theatre in 1999. She trained in ballet under Pasha and Kristina Kambalov for 11 years before pivoting into musical theatre and straight plays. Toria graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. During her time at University she began working in the university theater shop as a Sets and Prop Technician and began stage managing and working crew in both theatre and film. She worked under Disney writer, Qui Nguyen at the Pacific Playwright Festival as a Production Assistant for Vietgone, Tony award winning broadway star, Phillip Attmore, as assistant choreographer and Dance Captain of APU’s Much Ado About Nothing. From there Toria worked as a Stage Manager in South Coast Rep’s Oz 2.5. In 2021 Toria returned to FSBT as the company Stage Manager. She is also the Stage Manager of the National Ballet Competition housed at the Grand Opera House. This will be her 4th season as company stage manager and her first year as business manager of the school of First State Ballet Theatre: Whitehall, our new satellite school in the town Whitehall, Delaware.
