Aoi Tashiro

AOI TASHIRO’S PERFORMANCES ARE SPONSORED BY TERRY AND SANDY STRINE

AOI TASHIRO was born and raised in Japan, where she began her training. In 2017 she was selected to be in the Washington School of Ballet Professional Training Program, where she performed in Septime Webre's The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. In 2019, she joined the trainee program at American Repertory Ballet, where she performed alongside the company in Beauty and the Beast, Giselle and The Nutcracker. In 2021, she joined American Repertory Ballet II, dancing in ballets including The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night's Dream by Ethan Stiefel. Since joining FSBT in 2022, Aoi has especially enjoyed dancing Marzipan in The Nutcracker and Amour in Don Quixote. This is Aoi's third season at First State Ballet Theatre.
